Food Service Ministry
Welcome The Food Service Ministry provides more than 1,100 meals each week for the Dawson Family of Faith. These include Dawson Weekday Program, Dawson MidDay, Wednesday Night Supper, monthly meetings and special events.

Adults may choose the hot food cafeteria line or the soup/salad/potato bar. 2011 Fall Menus(Menus subject to change)
August 17—Taco Salad;
August 24—Fried Chicken, oven roasted potatoes, green beans, salad, bread, dessert;
August 31— Pot Roast, potatoes & carrots, slaw, salad, bread, dessert;
September 7 -- Spaghetti, Salad & Garlic toast, Dessert
September 14 — Country Fried steak & gravy, potatoes, green beans, salad, bread, dessert;
September 21 — Baked Ham, sweet potatoes, roasted vegetables, salad, bread, dessert;
September 28 — Chicken & sausage creole, steamed rice, broccoli crowns, salad, bread, dessert;
October 5 — Swedish Meatballs, buttered noodles, Veggie medley, salad, bread, dessert;
October 12 — Veggie plate, salad, bread, dessert;
October 19 — Hamburger steak & gravy, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, salad, bread, dessert;
October 26 — Chili, baked potatoes, grilled cheese sandwiches, salad, bread, dessert;
November 9 — Taco Salad, salad, bread, dessert;
November 16— Turkey & Dressing, sweet potatoes, whole green beans, salad, bread, dessert;
November 23 — NO MEAL November 30— General Tso’s Chicken, fried rice, oriental vegetables, salad, bread, dessert;
December 7 — Chicken Pot Pie, steamed veggies, salad, bread, dessert;
December 14 — Chili, Baked Potato, Grilled Cheese, Dessert
December 21 — NO MEAL
December 28 -- NO MEAL
Ways to Serve There are some immediate needs in the Food Service Ministry. We are currently looking for individuals who are willing to help with the Wednesday Night Meals by serving on a permanent basis. The needs include workers who are available weekly, every other week, or as a substitute.
